Order code 8692 has push-in spring contact type lamp contacts whilst the 8693 has screw type lamp contacts.
The 8692 has a simple snap shut connection block enclosure with a labyrinth design of cord restraint.
The 8693 has a clamp type cord restraint and screw retention of the connection enclosure cover. |

Teflon FEP insulated cable is a harder material than silicone rubber insulation and more tolerant of abuse. Silicone rubber insulation is more flexible and easier to work with but the softer material is more prone to damage.
Both silicone rubber and Teflon FEP are rated equally at 180°C for thermal performance. |
