12V LED Striplights - Adjustable

Designed specifically for use on a 12V DC power supply, these luminaires have built-in inverters to run the lamp so do not require any separate transformer or control gear to operate them. Simply connect them into the 12V DC circuit and they are ready for operation.

Both models feature low power consumption, are fully reverse polarity protected and CE approved. A discreet, integral switch is provided for local on-off switching as standard. All models are intended for surface mounting only and are easily installed.

LED 500 Rota-light incorporates the IP67 rated 2.2W 24 LED 500 Striplight with 24 high intensity Edison SMD LEDs in a housing that swivels through 160º so that the light can be directed where desired or required. The LEDs have a 180º lens that allows an excellent spread of light and energy consumption is barely 20% of a halogen lamp and yet the 35 Lux at 1m light output is equivalent to a 10W halogen lamp.

The LED 500 Rota-light was originally designed for use above the sink area in the kitchen where the direction of the light could be altered to suit the task in hand, but can also be fitted as bunk reading lights for example. However, it the list of applications grows longer over time as consumers realise the potential of being able to direct the light where it is required. It can be used as under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, inside wardrobes, kitchen cupboards or, understairs cupboards. It can be installed in any attitude without detriment. It can used for display lighting in furniture, for alcove lighting, above work desks and under-shelves in book cases etc.

The LED 500 Rota-light has an integrated on/off rocker switch fitted neatly into one of the end caps.
