The design of these robust diecast aluminium downlighters for MR 16 lamp features a solid aluminium lamp retaining ring, unique to Vysal, that stays in place and never falls out. It provides IP44 compliance when used with a closed-fronted lamp.
These downlighters have a ceramic lampholder with screwed connections to prevent arcing between lamp pins and lampholder contacts. We have never had a failure in 15 years! The 2-pole terminal block is fully enclosed and supported by a fixed steel bracket.
