12V Weatherproof Fluo. 18W T8 Lamp

This IP 65 rated Weatherproof light is unusual in that it has been designed specifically for use on a 12V DC power supply. It is ideal for humid situations and outside applications such as gardens, car ports, horticultural and agricultural uses where it provides a highly energy efficient lighting solution.

The weatherproof casing which houses the light unit is moulded from tough GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) for robustness and incorporates a rubber sealing string against water ingress.

The clear polycarbonate lens is secured in position, and the seal made water tight, using the strong clamps along each edge.

The high efficiency inverter is mounted neatly behind the internal aluminium chassis and is enclosed with a high temperature heat-shrink sleeve for added protection.
