Deluxe All Weather Battery Box - Order Code 8097
The Deluxe All Weather Battery box is ideal to hold a battery and charge controller in a dry and safe environment.
With 1 x input / output socket and 2 x High Power wing nut terminals (for running up to two different appliances simultaneously), it enables any installation to be housed in a tidy professional way.

The battery box incorporates a simple meter indicating battery power levels. |
The charge controller can be mounted inside the deluxe battery box in addition to the battery. Everything can be tidily wired for convenience. |
The deluxe battery box has an ON ~ OFF switch to disconnect all circuits from the battery withouthaving to open the box |

If the battery that you use has pillar type terminals (and not lugs with holes in) you will need to fit battery terminals when it is to be fitted into the all weather battery box (order code 8097). The positive and negative terminals differ in size so that you cannot easily transpose the connections.

Batteries
We recommend that you purchase a 12V car or caravan deep cycle battery with a capacity of at least 75Ak~85Ah so that you can be certain that you will always have enough light available. A battery of this type is available from most motoring / caravanning shops.
